80 Degrees of Sightseeing

My 2nd day in Quebec City was oven status. It was hotter than So. Cal desert weather which, kept me heading back to my hotel room every chance I could to cool off under the a/c all throughout the day. According to the locals, I apparently came during the hottest week they’ve ever had in history. Can someone pour a bucket of ice over my head, like now?

Top 5 Feelings Encountered on my First Week Back from Vacation.

I need another vacation. On cloud nine. I’ve been day dreaming about last week’s time spent wondering around town or the joy of drinking red wine at sunset. I’m still trying to hold on to those happy memories. When can I do that again? Sharing is caring. I found myself wanting to talk about my vacation. What I saw, the adventures I took and what happened; … Continue reading Top 5 Feelings Encountered on my First Week Back from Vacation.

Visiting The Gallery District

One of my favorite things to do in San Jose Del Cabo is walking through The Gallery District in downtown. It is definitely a must see and do when someone comes to visit for the first time. The streets are lined with small shops, art galleries, cafe’s, markets, restaurants, and much more. If, that’s not enough, every Thursdays there’s an art walk event between 5-9pm. 2017 in Review (Video)

Where did time go? I remembered coming home for the first time after living abroad for over a year. I was feeling torn leaving Europe but, at the same time happy to be back home in America. I think the biggest adjustment this year (and it still is) was acclimating back to my American lifestyle. I had to get used to the same work routine, traffic, the types of food and cutting back drastically on traveling (sigh). On the latter, I’ve been able to spend more time with my family, re-connect with old friends and meet new friends. I know I don’t travel often these days but, I still make it a priority and had a chance to go to new places such as Scottsdale and the Big Island. I learned I have a good aim, I persevered through a wildfire and stood up for myself to situations that were simply not a good fit for me. As stressful as it was at times, I think 2017 unfolded to the best way it could be and I am ok with that. To my family, to my old and new friends, thanks for making this year a wonderful experience.
