NEW: I wrote this post a few years ago when I had a close encounter of being one of many to evacuate due to wildfires in my previous neighborhood. Fires and earthquakes are two major natural disasters that we often face in California. Although, we’ve managed to have a few cool days this week, the wild fires are still happening. Yesterday I rushed home hungry and ready for some sushi. I was invited by my roommate as she sold me on the idea of a cheap sushi place she knew. I was a bit wary at first as ‘cheap’ sushi did not sound appealing to me. Although, I gave her a chance since I was craving sushi and I was hungry.
