I’m sitting here letting the title of this post marinate for a little bit. I feel that we’re far from the crisis ending anytime soon but, I am hopeful. One day, when this ends and I am sure it will, I want to be ready for the things that I missed doing or took for granted before the crisis started. These are in no way … Continue reading First Thing I Will Do After the COVID-19 Crisis Ends.

I’m a Gemini and moody. It comes with the territory. The good news is that I’m really good at getting myself out of a bad mood 90% of the time. The other 10% I try to suppress and ignore it with the following tricks. Listen to music. An instant mood lifter, music never failed to get me out of my rut. My friends have mentioned … Continue reading How I Get Myself Out of a Bad Mood.
Is there such a thing anymore? Last year, several of my social media and bank accounts were part of a company system being hacked. This resulted in compromising my information, one that I am not happy about. I’m sure many of you can relate and if not, you are one lucky person. The question at hand is how do you keep your information safe when … Continue reading Online Safety
I can’t remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween. The older I get, the more I seem to cherish my time alone. Call me old folk if, you will. In contrary, this year is different. I’ve been invited to a work related Halloween party held at Orange County Mining Co. Restaurant. Word around town, this place apparently has one of the best views in Orange County. I guess I can’t complain, free booze and food at a party with a great view, I’m all in….or so I thought. Continue reading “Trick or Twat”
I woke up with sore legs today definitely not a good way to start the week. My painful muscles were a result from a 2-hour hike up the Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park in Foothill Ranch. It was a canyon with surprisingly steep hills that clearly, challenged every bit of my leg muscles. Continue reading “No Pain, No Gain. Hiking the Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park.”
My 2nd day in Quebec City was oven status. It was hotter than So. Cal desert weather which, kept me heading back to my hotel room every chance I could to cool off under the a/c all throughout the day. According to the locals, I apparently came during the hottest week they’ve ever had in history. Can someone pour a bucket of ice over my head, like now?

When my plane finally landed in Quebec City airport, I think I may have yelped a little internally. It was definitely quite an adventure just getting here but, I made it. Half asleep and half excited, I breezed through the airport and took a taxi to my B&B hotel. Continue reading “Je Me Souviens”
East coast got me in a bundle. If you’ve ever tried to organize a trip to the east coast coming from California, with a stop over in Canada, on a short time frame and in the middle of summer, well, just call me crazy. Continue reading “Stuck in Toronto, Canada.”
There’s no denying that birthdays is a special day. I think most people will want to do something nice to celebrate on the day that they are born or not (whichever one prefers). It could be a simple staying at home or in my case, going out for brunch.
Last weekend, my roommate introduced me to a restaurant that she believed I would enjoy. We had a few minutes of discussion about what this place had to offer and I was convinced it was the right place to spend my birthday. It turned out, she was right. Coming across multiple snakes from my recent trips to the desert, shows that I can no longer ignore the fact that being bitten by one can happen. No joke, my worst nightmare whenever I’m on a weekend trip to the desert or mountain, is being bitten by a snake. I think it’s due to the fact that when I’m out and about, I tend to get excited about other things in front of me rather than looking down on my feet. Snakes, on the other hand, are very good at camouflaging and hiding where you least expect to see them. Therefore, to ease my mind, I started looking into figuring out how to prevent from being bitten by a snake while enjoying my time exploring. Continue reading “Your Preventative Snake Bite Care. Without a doubt, Southern California offers one of the best weather anywhere in the world which, makes outdoor activities that much better. Since moving back from abroad, I think I’ve learned to re-kindle my love for my city and realized that there’s so much that I have yet to see. With a new bike within reach, I saw places that I’ve never been to, explored areas that I’ve never taken and sometimes, just go without any plans. Here are a few new (and some old) places that I came across this year that are worth seeing.
