These are the times of a New Normal.

Like any other citizen, I’ve spent most of my time these days indoors and headed outdoors only for a breath of fresh air, a brief walk or in search for household essentials. Yesterday, I literally did not move off the couch unless I was hungry, reaching for the remote, use the bathroom, sleep and then do it over again until bedtime. Today was different. I … Continue reading These are the times of a New Normal.

Insights to Chicago's Largest Rooftop Bar & its Zoo Attraction. (Video)

Another sunny day in Chicago started making me feel spoiled. The weather during my trip regarding the brutal cold weather has proven it to be quite the opposite. I already started my day with a delicious breakfast at the well known Wildberry Cafe. Set in the heart of the Millennium Park, I met a few friends there and caught up over pancakes and toasts. The … Continue reading Insights to Chicago's Largest Rooftop Bar & its Zoo Attraction. (Video)

Visiting Chicago’s Tourist Sites. (Video)

Saturday’s schedule was jam packed with outdoor activities that I wanted to see or do. I originally intended to spread out the activities in a span of 4 days while I was in Chicago but, since the weather was fantastic, I decided to see as much of outdoor related activities as possible. Most of them, of course, were the typical tourist sites. In daylight, I … Continue reading Visiting Chicago’s Tourist Sites. (Video)

Visiting the Sunset Sea Cliffs, San Diego. (Video)

I’ve had my share of views for sunsets and I can tell yeah that watching it from the Sunset Cliffs is a one of a kind experience. I arrived without too much expectations but, it turned out to be more than what I anticipated. My first initial thought was that I would walk along the cliffs and sightsee. Doing so allowed me to peak over … Continue reading Visiting the Sunset Sea Cliffs, San Diego. (Video)

A Short Stay In San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. (Video)

I arrived Saturday night, tired from the flight yet mentally excited for a much needed break in Mexico. Having been here many times now, I feel SJD has become my 2nd home, however, the amount of places to see is still vastly waiting to be discovered. SJD is a booming market with new hotels (i.e. La Ventana coming soon) and restaurants being built every year, … Continue reading A Short Stay In San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. (Video)

Petting Alpacas in Temecula. (Video)

Part of the experience I enjoyed while visiting Temecula was signing up to feed and pet a few Alpacas. As it was my first time bonding with these types of animals, I wasn’t sure how I felt about them. However, after much bonding I grew to love them in the end. The Alpacas are cute especially with their bushy furs hanging right around their eyes. … Continue reading Petting Alpacas in Temecula. (Video)

Exploring Old Town Temecula. (Video)

You can’t come to Temecula without seeing Old Town. It is one of the main attraction aside from wine tasting and it is a must see in my opinion. Truthfully, I didn’t have high hopes for Temecula at first because it reminded me of a previous experience I had visiting near the area that turned out to be disappointing. However, this trip completely changed my … Continue reading Exploring Old Town Temecula. (Video)

The Quiet Side of Temecula. (Video)

A busy work week for me usually means retreating to a quieter weekend getaway. Temecula came to mind as a perfect spot in re-setting. It was a place that was easy to reach (within an hour) from home yet, far enough to feel like I am in another world. What’s great about Temecula is that it’s known as a wine country town. Therefore, finding a … Continue reading The Quiet Side of Temecula. (Video)

The Reality of Meeting a Celebrity (video)

So, no one is ever prepared (I think) when you meet a celebrity for the first time. It just doesn’t happen. The initial greeting is always awkward because there’s nothing you can say or do that would make it less weird. Unless, you meet celebrities all the time in your line of work or you’re famous yourself then this doesn’t apply to you. I’m sure … Continue reading The Reality of Meeting a Celebrity (video)

The Key to Hemet Desert’s Hideaway (video)

With the rising living costs in California and the immense amount of people flocking in to the state by the minute; I’ve definitely considered a quieter, smaller and more remote location. Luckily, my friend lives in Hemet, a city known for its retirement community with mobile home parks and retirement housing developments. The area is approximately 67 miles east from Orange County; about 40 minutes … Continue reading The Key to Hemet Desert’s Hideaway (video)

Trick or Twat

I can’t remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween. The older I get, the more I seem to cherish my time alone. Call me old folk if, you will. In contrary, this year is different. I’ve been invited to a work related Halloween party held at Orange County Mining Co. Restaurant. Word around town, this place apparently has one of the best views in Orange County. I guess I can’t complain, free booze and food at a party with a great view, I’m all in….or so I thought. Continue reading “Trick or Twat”
