Two days ago, I went to a Professional Networking event for women. Normally, as an introvert I am naturally hesitant to do something social with a large group of people. Nerves usually kick in and I get that funny feeling in my belly trying to get even a word out. However, base on the last event for this group, I felt it was a good fit because I felt comfortable. Also the host does a great job of making everyone feel welcome and connecting each-other which is why I keep coming back 😉
Later in the night, I learned after a few conversations that some of the women were originally from another state and somehow, faith brought them here in California. We all agreed that making friends here is quite tough and we’re thankful to have this group to potentially expand our network of friends.
The location was pretty interesting. We did wine tasting at Hi-Times Wine Cellar where they have a huge selection of wines to choose from. The prices varied from low end to upper $600+. We walked around at some point looking at wine bottles from one aisle to another. You really can’t tell from outside but, this place is actually quite big.
Until next time…
