Where there’s water, there’s likely a good view somewhere nearby. Castaways Park is a perfect spot for a quick stroll or jogs early in the morning or late in the afternoon (whichever you prefer). It is located in Newport Beach, perched on a hill right next to million dollar homes overlooking the Newport Marina Bay. During my teen years, I remembered coming here with my folks when dad wanted to go on his short walks. It’s been years since I’ve been back but, I felt nostalgic returning here for the first time in a long time. Choosing to come early in the morning was the right decision. The view and the location attract many visitors both locals and tourists alike. Therefore, keep in mind that it can get congested during the day.
The length of the path is about 1.02 miles and you’ll get these beautiful views throughout the way.
The weather that day was also perfect which, nicely set up the entire scene.
