Yesterday I rushed home hungry and ready for some sushi. I was invited by my roommate as she sold me on the idea of a cheap sushi place she knew. I was a bit wary at first as ‘cheap’ sushi did not sound appealing to me. Although, I gave her a chance since I was craving sushi and I was hungry. I’m glad I did because the food was pleasantly good. Once we finally arrived at Mizu Sushi Bar & Grill, we sat at the bar counter. I looked around the restaurant and my initial thought was wow, this place is fancy and only 5 minutes away from our apartment. The interior had a dark and solemn feel to it yet, it felt very modern and sophisticated. Looking at the menu, I thought that my roommate was right about sushi being affordable. I ended up ordering a glass of Merlot, a plate of Spicy Tuna Roll, a plate of sweet potato fries and a plate of potato scallops. All came out to be around $15-18 including tax and tips. Let me tell you that the food was very delicious!
