Today was pretty relaxing. The weather started out cool but, by 10 am the clouds cleared and the sun hit the 80’s. My friend Cari and I opted for an easy Sunday at my Dad’s where we ended up having lunch with the rest of the family; then, we hit the beach the rest of the day.At the beach, I wasn’t surprised to find that there were a lot of people. Considering that it is a 4-day weekend for some people in preparation for the 4th of July holiday. It’s fair to assume that most of them are locals or visitors who had taken a long break from work. How lucky! I, on the other hand, have to work tomorrow. But, let’s not end Sunday just yet. Let me take in as much of the sun as possible and let it burn my shoulders. I’d like to just lay at the beach forever and stare up at the sky. Even in the air, all sorts of activities were happening. Ah, after a nice sunny day I always look forward to the nice sunsets. I caught this shot on our drive back home. I love it when the sky turns red. It always reminds me of summer for some reason. I hope your weekend is also as relaxing as mine. If so, cheers to that!
