As we explored the city, we took a leisurely walk around the canals, taking in the picturesque scenery. The canals of Venice are truly something to behold, and it’s hard to go wrong with any route you take. Each one offers its own unique charm and beauty.

For lunch, we decided to check out Bacarando Ai Corazzieri, a restaurant that had been recommended to us by one of my friends who knew the owner. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the perfect spot to take a break from our sightseeing.
I ordered the spaghetti with clams and a glass of prosecco, and it was hands down one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Italy. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection, and the clams were fresh and succulent. The sauce was flavorful and rich, and the prosecco was the perfect complement to the dish. My friends also enjoyed their meals and we all agreed that it was one of the best dining experiences we had in Venice. If you ever find yourself in the city, I highly recommend giving Bacarando Ai Corazzieri a try. It’s a hidden gem that should not be missed.

As the day came to an end, we reluctantly made our way back to the train station. Our one day trip to Venice had been a whirlwind of emotions, from the awe-inspiring beauty of the city, to the delicious Italian cuisine, and the memories we made together. We left the city feeling grateful for the opportunity to experience its charm and magic. Venice truly is a place like no other and I can’t wait to return one day. If you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it. It’s a city that will leave you enchanted and wanting more. Arrivederci, Venezia!
