Exploring Milan’s Casa Manzoni Museum

For the first time in a while I found some free time to myself. I googled a few museums to see in Milan that I haven’t seen yet and saw photos of Casa Manzoni that immediately captured my curiosity.

Casa Manzoni is a historical home of the famous Italian poet and novelist Alessandro Manzoni. Inside the palace are various collections of his original books, artworks, photos and so forth. I particularly like the ceilings the way it shows the details of the original frescos. It’s incredible how they managed to keep everything in great condition considering these date back to 18th century.
